Training your brain can be such a fun adventure! It’s truly at the core of who we are, our very essence.  It has given me and sadly others some of the shittiest of times sadly. After some struggles and losing my way due to my brain  injury, I’m so grateful to say I’m on the mend— not totally but almost six years and counting! As we think about ways to keep our minds sharp, let’s take a joyful ‘Walk On The Wild Side…’ 🎼 Music at around 600 beats per minute really gets the energy flowing. Art is for everyone—we can all express ourselves! And let’s not forget exercise, which is such a great way to have fun while staying active. I’ve developed a love for reading, especially those intriguing Scandinavian crime novels. Plus, writing can be enjoyable too—I recommend starting a daily journal!

With years of research and the experiences of three strokes behind me, I’ve really explored the Japanese concept of ‘Ba,’ which is all about gaining ‘new’ knowledge in a ‘shared space.’ While I might not have the formal title of a PhD, I’ve certainly gained a wealth of understanding. And hey, just call me “Prof Sami-Collard”! I’m excited to share this journey with you! 😗🤯
